Who We Are
Shady Grove is an independent Baptist Church, we have no ties with any conventions or associations, the church is supported by the members with tithes and offerings, we depend on Jesus Christ, for his leadership through the Holy Spirit, we are a friendly group of loving people who loves serving the Lord, we are mission minded, we use the KJV for our Sunday school teaching, Wednesday even bible study and preaching the Word of God. We are excited about what God is doing at Shady Grove, we love Southern Gospel music, and sing out of the old gospel hymn book, (we are a little old school and proud of it), We are on a new journey, our new motto is CHURCH ON THE MOVE!!
Our mission is to reach as many people as we can and tell them about Jesus Christ and his Saving Grace and he is coming back for THE CHURCH
(All who has accepted Him as their savior)
Acts 1:8,9,10,11
8) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon
You: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea
And in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
9) And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was
Taken up: and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
10) And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up,
Behold, two men stood by them in white apparel:
11) Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into
Heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so
come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven.
